Just another day at the beach...

Hiya folks! Just wanted to share my awesome day with you guys. So after work on Thursday my sister and I decided to get out and enjoy the sun (one of the many perks of living in San Diego). So we packed our bags and headed to Torrey Pines State Beach where we decided to hike the beach trail before enjoying the water. Here are a few shots from that:

The trail ends up... well... on the beach.... lol... and as we were heading back to the car to get the boogie boards and switch out our sneakers for flip flops we spotted this little guy...

So cute right... haha... anyway, the waves were awesome and after the day of activities we continued on the healthy kick and opted for a lean dinner of basil pesto tilapia over sauteed bok choy and brown rice... yummmm...

One of my new favorite dishes and so easy and affordable too! Last but not least, I added a shell to the collection I started since finding out about the trails at Torrey Pines. Every hike I go on, I always pick up either a rock or shell to add to my bottle.

Not as many as I would like in there but gimme time... lol... Hope you all are having a great day!
